Such a dry, hot summer summer! The melons and corn are doing great and the
 tomatoes are coming along. The pepper plants are very slow growing and have 
been since early spring. While I was out weeding (the weeds are growing better than anything!) I had company the toads and frogs were taking cover in the damp shade so I just weed around them! 


I have gotten some salsa and corn relish put up already. Next will be the tomato sauce. Since we depend on the weather for our livelihood and it may not snow much this year, I fill the pantries and freezer.
